Last July 26, 2018, our home in Redding, California was destroyed in the infamous CARR fire turning our lives completely “upside down”.

Don Ajamian Construction was our contractor to undertake the task of building our new home. Between Don Ajamian (President), Dustin Phillips (Vice President) and Eran Phillips (Designer) we were quickly able to put a magnificent plan in place that exceeded our expectations. Most importantly, they were able to seamlessly work with our insurance company in mitigating problems, answering questions and providing the necessary documentation. Eran made the “dreaded” design decisions and process effortless as every detail was carefully managed by the company. Dustin over saw the entire project managing construction details, personnel and time frame ensuring project success.

The Carr fire came over the mountain from Whiskeytown. Wind had changed and the fire was coming directly at us. “it jumped the river”.  It was time to evacuate……..three days later It got word that it burned, my house, my cars had all burned. Nothing but stucco and tile shingles……it all burned.

As expected, the last 15 months have been trying, but Don Ajamian and his employees have been wonderful in helping rebuild after the horrific fire. I recommend Don Ajamian Construction without reservation.

On July 26, 2018 we lost our home of 28 years to the Carr Fire in Redding, California.  A week later we contacted Don Ajamian of Don Ajamian Construction about rebuilding our home.  At our first meeting with Don we learned that shortly after the fire he had been proactive in contacting subcontractors to work with him knowing that the need would be great after so many homes had been lost to the fire.

Because our home was a total loss, we decided to make some changes to our original floor plan. Right away Don got us in contact with a draftsman who worked with us to design a beautiful new home.  We can’t speak highly enough of the team of people that Don has working with him.  From the Project Manager, Design Coordinator, Site Supervisor to all the subcontractors who worked on our project everyone was so helpful.  We were amazed at the commitment that they all had to not just seeing that we got back home, but to make sure that it was done to the best of their abilities.  They walked us through each stage of the process and answered our MANY questions without making us feel like we were a bother to them. They worked to help us build a home that our insurance budget would cover.  10 months after losing our home and four months after pouring our foundation we were able to move back to our neighborhood and into a beautiful new home!

We highly recommend Don Ajamian Construction and have in fact already recommended his company to several people in our neighborhood.  His company not only built our home but also completed one of our neighbors, and is working on our immediate next-door neighbor’s home.
